LED foot lighting help needed

Hello I am trying to hardwire these new LED strips I just purchased.

I know I have a fuse box in the rear as well as up front. I am most likely going to tap into the rear fuse box because I don't want to have to mess with my firewall. nor do I know how to wire through a firewall.

So I'm going to be using my rear fuse box. Which fuse should I tap into?

I see a dedicated slot for RGB lights, but there is not a fuse in there currently. So an add a fuse you need an existing fuse in its slot I believe. Can anybody help me out?

Ive never done this install, but this might be an option instead of coming from the rear fuse box.

Not 100% sure what you're asking. So I will go with what I think.

To wire it up to the fuse box in the back all you need to do is install a fuse ( check what amps your lights will be pulling to figure out what size fuse you need) and wire into the box on the rear side if the fuse ( or you can rig it in the front side but will look crappy and cheap.) You will also need to correctly ground the lights to the body. Then depending on how they are turned on you may need a switch. ALSO Make sure you run the wire to the correct side of the fuse!!

So I don't have to use an add-a-fuse?

Or can I use my add-a-fuse for my wiring and run it into an empty fuse slot?

Yes you can use the add a fuse instead of going through the back. I just don't like how they look, I feel like they look cheap and like a high school rig up job

Not sure what type of lights you are installing, maybe something in this post might help https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=564653
