Holy 60ft Batman. What was the DA when you ran your last best? Are you running a 4C now? I think I am seeing a trend.

DA last time that yielded that 10.13 on stock converter was 200 and yes 4c now

DA REALLY does make a difference!
When I was handed my 1st time sheet tonight, I thought I was handed the wrong one. My tires didn't slip at all last week; at least, I certainly didn't feel them slip like I did tonight. I did not expect to get 12.288! Makes me wonder if I had been one of the 1st runs like I was last week... could I have got down in the 12's??? My 2nd run tonight just barely beat my best time from last week (by 1 thousandth ), and I could hear the tires squeeling at the start. DA is no joke!
I'll certainly be paying more attention to the weather conditions when I think about going to the track! No wonder it was 20x more crowded tonight vs last week.

Is this new capitol track downhill ?

Stock zl1 hitting 130 in positive DA and bolt on SS without even headers hitting 126.

I'm honestly tempted to take my car out east...

Hmmmmm, I am seeing a trend here. LOL. I can't believe the top end charge of the ZL1. Almost 33mph is crazy. That is one bad ride for sure and my man nailed it with the 1.74 60ft. Great driving there.

Don't be fooled bro, from what I have been seeing headers and cats are only worth 6-12rw over the stock manifolds with no cats. You are also forgetting about the 26" tire, great tune and driver. That 126mph car also puts down more power in 5th than most do in 6th. It is a killer combo that was driven well in negative DA.

No, it's not a downhill track. I think the mph was off on this pass. I didn't make another pass to back it up, it was just too crowded for me to sit around waiting. I'll be back to try again soon. I'm sure the mph will be between 125 - 127 when I make another pass. I can definitely see 130 being a possibility in negative da though, but this was not one of those days.

As for the other bolt-on 6th gen running that mph, it's definitely legit. A great combo and a great driver. I'm sure he'll be at camarofest to defend his honor .

I just might drive out east this November. I've always wanted to see the difference. Every car every forum it's always the same story. The fastest cars come from New Jersey and Maryland.

I can't make the fest but it would be really cool to see how they compare same day. I just cant get the time off :(

My 5th gen best times was run at a different track, though it was in Md. . We do have the benefit of great conditions here in the fall, and well prepped tracks. All times posted are legit and honest, absolutely no mods. A lot of guys don't bring their cars out when it's cold out, I welcome it! It will definitely be worth it to make that trip east if you want to experience what we're fortunate to have here.

As for the 6th gen, I will get this car's 60' times down into the 1.6s on the street tires, I did it with the 5th gen. Yes, torque management is a bit$h on this car, but I think I'll be able to do it. Consider that it only took 2 passes to get that 1.74...
