Anyway, I'm not saying it WILL be done, but the excuses should never have been given - it should have just been said that financially and from a business perspective, they decided to go only DCT. Again, DCTs are great in my experience, but boring in a very short time.

I would love to have a little daily turbo Cobalt. I still know a guy with the HHR SS Turbo that hurts lots of feelings from a roll.

Yup, Im still sore at GM for pulling out of that market. If they stuck the 2.0t in a 2door version of the cruze it would have been competition for todays civic and veloster at a lower price. It might have even made the cruze worthy of keeping around. Remember they had a dealer upgrade that put out 290hp/300tq back in 2008.

This appears to be the 2021 Canyon lineup. L to R: Elevation Standard, Elevation, Denali, AT4 It's an odd tier structure for sure, pretty sure Colorado is staying with the usual W/T, LT, Z71, ZR2 trims. Not sure why GM decided to do away with SL/SLE/SLT.

If I was gonna look for a front driver, Finding a VR6 Golf would have my interest now. Turbo spool is puke. Maybe the GXP G6. But a few things. Generational size growth always bothered me. Pontiacs seemed like chic cars. And I held it against other GM brands when Olds and the Camaro went the wrong way or were given up on.

I'd like to see that 5.5L FPC make it's way into a future Z/28.

Yeah...I agree that the changes are kind of strange.

I can't imagine the Elevation package on Canyon was so widely popular that GM decided to make it standard. But it appears as though that's essentially what they've done. Then again while looking for 2020 Canyons I could barely find a non-Elevation edition around here.

Any idea when they might finally reveal the Colorado trim line?

I like the body color look of the Elevations but I could pass on the blacked out wheels. I don't absolutely hate them, but I'll probably end up trading someone for All Terrain or AT4 wheels.
No idea about Colorado. I had to search hard to find that image, ended up finding it on some random dealer's website. There are a few non-ZR2 2021 Colorado images floating around. Assuming this is an LT... Maybe a Z71 based on the grille badge? LT 4WD maybe... Again, these were all found on random dealer websites. I guess they pulled them from internal sales guides or something.

Here's another:
I'm not sure what to think. I do like the wheels...pretty sure it is Z71.

On the topic of Colorados, and a possible mod for those of y'all who own one...
https://www.coloradofans.com/threads...-bezel.410989/ Apparently GM quietly released either an accessory or a special edition fog light bezel with an LED signature.
