The best and most famous chase was the Impala Chase done years ago. Again, stupid but it only involved one driver and at least it did not end with loss of life.

There was a chase where a Hellcat actually managed to outrun the helicopter.

I think it ended with the Hellcat running out of fuel. It is a very thirsty car, and especially so when you are pushing it hard enough to outrun a chopper.
