permanent code

My 2010 SS has P0172 AND p0175 codes. The scanner says permanent codes.
The problem was fixed and the MIL light is off. I have driven the car about 500 miles and the codes will not go away. How long or how many drive cycles do I have to drive to get the permanent codes to go away?

You have to do a universal drive cycle or two normally to get to clear. Google universal drive cycle permanent code for instructions. Also you can't have tuned the codes out or turned the mil light off in the tune or they won't clear. Needs to be set like it was from the factory. Once it changes from permanent to history you can clear it with a scan tool and then tune it out.
