Convertible owenrs: Do you have wind noise?
I mean, in comparison with non-convertibles.
Talking about the top closed... I did a search, I know some of you get a whistle on the driver side or on the passengers side. ...just over all wind noise that you probably wouldnt have on a non-convertible because of aerodynamics. |

If I did not have a whistle on both sides of the car, I'd say there isn't that much wind noise. Obviously the faster you go it gets louder, but I have done 80 on highways with the top up and was able to converse with the wife without raising my tone.

Anyone who says there Convertible is as quite as a coupe is lying to themselves. But with that said this is the quietest vert I have ever seen. Nothing like to old single ply tops. Plus it's real nice in Georgia right now with the top down. Learn to love it. My wife pushed for the vert and now I'm loving it !!!

Agree with GA, mine does not whistle but I hear a whiff here and there at high speed.

My Vert is NOT as quiet as a Coupe, BUT, It IS ALOT MORE FUN than a Coupe, This is almost as quiet as My last M-B SL-600.

Yes I get a slight hiss at the back windows at the bottom at higher mph. If it wasn't otherwise so quiet with the top up I wouldn't have ever noticed since every other car I've owned made/makes more front mirror wind and A/B pillar noise than the vert.
Rarely drive with the top up though so no biggie for me

very little sure more than a coupe but overall quiet. My drive home on delivery day 19 hours total. Of those 4-5 hours with the top down the rest up.
