Considering trading my 16 2SS for a 19 2SS 1LE
My 16 is an A8...never had a manual car before. I'm assuming the M6 for the 19 is the same as previous models. For those that have one is it difficult to drive in relation to other MT cars? Thanks for the feedback

It’s one of the best transmissions so there’s that. But why pass on the a10? Honestly U can’t go wrong

It's not hard to drive at all. The clutch and gear shift are quite livable, even in rush hour traffic. It's just as easy to drive as my past BMW's, but maybe not quite as smooth or refined.

The SS M6 is an easy car to learn on in relation to many others because of the amount of torque. At idle, with no gas, it's easy to let out the clutch and get moving in 1st. That's a good way to get a feel for the clutch.

As easy as any other stick, nice shifts. A lot more fun than a manual. |

What? Trade the best looking Camaro in history for the most hideous, disgusting, vomit inducing ugliest car in the world?
Are you blind? (Trade up and get the manual before they are gone)

I don't know, that's actually a really hard decision. The 1LE is an absolute blast to drive but, you can't outrun ugly. To that end, the A10 sounds amazing but, is unavailable on the 1LE. You could consider getting a 17-18 1LE for a solid price if that's more your style. If you are dead-set on a 19+, I can't give you any positive feedback at all.

My 2SS M6 was my first manual car. These cars have a weird clutch on them. Essentially, the bite point is a very narrow range and it's easy to stall out without knowing that. Once I learned to hold the clutch at the bite point to get it to grab, it was easy to work it. The rev matching is also fantastic for learning since you don't have to worry about giving the engine some gas while letting off the clutch on up or downshifts. Overall, I think it's great but it will be slower than the A8 or A10.
