Yes, the dealer gave me $17500 for it. I know I could have had more privately but I did not want to go thru the whole sale process. Overall, I am very happy with it. I could have paid less but I also took the dent repair and wheels and tire insurance. My old one was a nail magnet and door dings magnet, so I hope I get the peace of mind with this option.

I only got $3500 rebate, I did not qualify for the $2000 rebate since I didn't have a mustang. Before taxes and fees and transportation fee, it was around $41800. I spent the whole day bargaining with the sales guy but I knew they wouldn't drop it further.

No, it was $45k. MSRP and sales price are separate. The MSRP was $49900 and the sales price around $41800.
