New Android Auto 2019 - What Do Ya'll Think?

I'm rockin' the new 2019 Android Auto interface and really like it.

Feels more intuitive. Multi-tasking is MUCH easier now (GPS, music and calls without changing screens).

Interested in hearing impressions from others who have tried it out...

Haven't tried it yet, just changed the option in the settings for AA to enable new update. Will try it later, looks better from what I have seen of it, never was a fan of the real simplistic interface that is/was the original AA, too simple for me.

Cool, I didn't know an update was available. I just went into my AA on my phone and turned on the new feature so it would update. I'll try it out this evening.

I like the new interface, but also not sure if it has some bugs over the last iteration, as I've had connectivity issues switching between my Camaro and truck. Hopefully it will all smooth out eventually, the new screen does look more modern, but I didn't mind the specific 4 soft buttons on the old program, for nav, phone, settings, etc.

Uh-oh...I haven't run into any bugs yet...what are you seeing?

AA on my phone still hates me because i uninstalled google assistant so it wont show me the option to try the new ui. That or i'm on some special list that doesn't get the push.

My girl's got the same phone and all and she got the push. Looks snazzier.

I tried it out yesterday, pretty cool...better interface then the original AA, like the added apps in there, the other one was a little too basic for me. Just wish could use something other than Google Play Music controlled through the screen for music on my phone when cable is plugged in and AA is on.

There are plenty of AA-compatible music options! I have Pandora, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Google Play Music, and Amazon Music.

Just tried it earlier today. I freaking love the update. And now my Poweramp app works perfectly with AA and it is awesome.

I love this car.

I meant for downloaded music stored on my phone, non-streaming. I prefer Samsung Music instead, not a fan of Play Music.

NO.

I declined OnStar at time of purchase, Waze, AA etc all work just fine.
