Z28 prices dropping fast..
Wow,went I wrote about the price of the ZL1 dropping into the 38-39k range with 4-6k miles on the clock, and for a vert,as the coupes are cheaper even now..
I never expect to see how low the Z28 prices have. And are dropping sure there are still some price sky high, but I have found a ton under 55k with a few thousands miles on them,I even found one on a dealer lot,a Chevy lot claiming to be new,but has 885 demo miles on it,and it's a 2015...the price UNDER 50k... SO I WOULD GUESS IT COULD BE HAD for 46-47 pretty easy.. Go get guys,if your looking for a great deal....those people who Paid 100k must be crying now,lol..

I doubt it. Those that paid over MSRP have money to burn. Pretty sure they could care less.

One buys a Z/28 to enjoy the best of the beasts , not as an investment as somebody looks like is saying
Those cars are a tone off fun and enjoyment to drive , on the track or just cruising on a nice sunny day Hey , people work hard and tend to have fun when they can , and I applaud those who can do that with a car like the Z/28 Life comes and goes , one have to enjoy it while on this planet , right ? |

No I couldn't drive one being in a wheelchair and I have to have A/c if I thought I could make money on them I would buy it,but the pric s are all too close to risk it..

But if you have the money to collect, and help keep the history of the cars intact for the next generations,i am for that as well..I am sure those same people have cars either built or purchased just to play with, otherwise where does their passion for cars come from ?

What I don't get is I found one,it's a 2015 with 1k miles on it,price is fair 56k,but the guy has written,never red lined,driven hard,never even smoked the tires,been to a track,or in the rain,totally babied always,lol...
Why the heck did he even buy it,just to look at,and loose 20k plus wow, either it's a lie,or he just got scared,lol.. There is no way I would ever have anything like that without at least going and finding a long flat road, and haul ass late at night,or track it once at less,lol... What a waste..

The Z/28 has a very limited appeal, and Chevy over produced it. It could have been a special order car only and demand would have kept pace with production. I suspect that the sales success or lack there of, with this high end Camaro will factor in to what they do with the high end Gen 6 models. I don't see how they can justify a ZL1 and a Z/28 at least as we currently know them. I know the Z/28 is iconic, but is there enough interest in a dedicated race car that happens to be street legal? It really doesn't appear so. GM is going to have to blow out their inventory of these cars to get them gone.
