Wanting to get an estimate. How much do you pay per month and what was downpayment?
Looking at a new car. Im leaning towards a 2ss/rs camaro (2016). I expect them to be a bit more expensive, but for simplicity sake, how much am I looking at to take the car home if my downpayment is 10k and I have credit over 750.
Thanks! |

Google bankrate car loan calculator. Play with it. It really opens your eyes.

you beat me to it. Also don't forget to add in any estimated taxes from your state, title work and service fees (which I have yet to ever pay, bastards try to charge a fee to buy from them don't let them do it)

I know in pa on the on our transportation service site it has a tax and tags estimate calculator, look at your states dot site and see if they have it.

You may or may not figure taxes into that, depending of course on if you are planning to include them in your loan or not. I always pay the taxes separately, out of pocket, so I never include that in my loan figure.
Based on what I'm seeing, assuming the 2SS will be 40K (A 2SS is going to start at least 37 - 39K I'm assuming if not more, so only a few options is going to push it past 40K easily) with 10K down, No trade, and no taxes figured in, using a 3% interest rate (I know this could be lower but I just picked a number) I'm getting a payment of $540 a month for 60 months.

As for the taxes thing, I can't argue with you on that. But its just something I've always done.

here is a general "rule of thumb" for payments
take the first 2 numbers in the selling price and double it... then add a zero at the end... The would be a rough payment for 60mos at about 6% rate. for every $1000 you put down, you'll take off $10-15/mo from the payment.. i.e., $25,000 $3000 down payment Will give you a payment close to 450-460/mo without the DP, you payment will be around 500-515, give or take a bit I also use this website... I like it http://www.onlineloancalculator.org/ |

Not really. If I were to get specific -- I say the 2SS base price is 38,005 + 995 delivery = 39,000$ + 1295$ 8L90 + 1795$ MRC. I'm more likely overpricing than under pricing. No way in hell I'm off by 3k.
