"Film protection" was the first (and best) thing I did to protect my Camaro. I would highly recommend it. Wax is essential, but it won't protect your paint against the inevitable rock chips.

+1. Would have sold my car by now had it not been XPELed from day one. If it's not pelting itself with rocks, the jackass in front of you is sandblasting you. There's no escape.

I use Yellow Wax by Pro . Amazon has it. It comes in a gold metal can. Great stuff.

I had Modesta's Nanon Titanium glass coating applied. It's not cheap, but the shine and depth is amazing. I am so trusting of it's ability to protect my paint that I left pigeon crap on it for 1 week (parking garage at work is infested..some idiot lady had been feeding them at one point!). I was in a hurry to get to the airport and noticed it just before I left. I was irritated, but not worried about it damaging my paint. Just got home tonight and it wiped right off with zero damage to the paint.

Blackfire Wet Diamond All Paint Protection topped with Blackfire Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Wax ---It's called Blackfire Wet-Ice Over Fire for a reason.

It's as good as A Song of Ice and Fire.

Small company out of California called Shine Supply. Hands down best stuff I've ever used. Tried many other brands (Adams, Meguairs, etc ) and nothing else compares

clear wrap your front grille, the side mirrors and your rear quarter panel gills. Trust me it's worth it.

I did the Adams 3 step paint correction and then the Sun-Tek PPF-C on most of the entire front and nose, both doors, mirrors, and lower rear quarters including wheel well flairs and ground effects. Yes...it was expensive, but I can now drive my limited production Z28 and not have to worry about chips and scratches.
I'm VERY happy I did it
