Definitely not against you just throwing out what I have seen about them. I have yet to install mine but ill be doing it after I throw on my E85 kit and TUNE.

On a side note, I'm going with Bullets instead of CA. I found the Bullets on Vengeance racing ebay page for a better price. Plus they have the hanger brackets.

Is $362 with gaskets?

No worries...did not think you were knocking me. My apologies if I came off that way.

I dont think so. I paid less for mine from vengeance ebay site.

That's not a bad price though... I gave $399 from CA with GM gaskets.

I'm trying to do everything in stages and track it to see the gains for fun.

I'm assuming that you plan on using the Big Daddies adapters that have the catalytic material in them, correct? If you do this, I'm very interested in how the adaptors work out. Particularly if you can run code free without a tune.

Yea I got them for 275.00 shipped minus the gaskets. I think they were used very shortly on a ZL1 before going long tubes.

Several thousand miles since having my Cat delete, no check engine light, no other obvious issues. I did also have the dealer do my free oil change and I've noticed my MPG's have gone down about .8 mile per gallon. I was running the expensive Valvoline synthetic just before they changed it. Haven't been using the a/c as much either. I used to stay dead on 22mpg, now 21.2

A little update.

150 miles no CEL yet. Also not seeing any KR. Sound in Stealth mode is about like the Stock setup open but a little tinny sounding. Open it gets LOUD! However there is not a hint of drone in either mode. For the price this is not a bad mod. I do think the Stock NPP unmolested sounds more refined per say. Performance wise its hard to tell yet.

So those Big Daddy o2 minicats thingamabobs work? Nice! Definitely keep us updated if the CEL does happen to come on at any point. Thanks for the update!

Questions: KR? Knock readings? And why the header wraps? I'm not experience with them and am curious to know why put them on cat deletes, and what are the pros/cons.

I was sent the "Cel Fix" adapters with no catalayst material. So we packed the base with a light amount of steel wool. That is what my brother used on his 2016 Scat Pack Challenger and has had no issues for 2yrs. Camaro may be different we shall see.

Yes KR means Knock retard. If you look at the log I posted, the histogram in the upper right hand corner is for KR. I woynd the engine out to 6400 and nothing. Fuel trims were also in check.

The idea of the header wrap was to "quiet" down the pipes. It was mentioned that the LT1 computer could potentially pick up the increased noise via the knock sensors. Normally aftermarket headers and cat delete pipes are thinner and you can hear ticking in the pipes. So I did the wrap as a preventative measure. Also reduces engine bay temps.
