The CAI can be installed in your garage...it's not too hard to do and I'm sure some local members would be willing to help out if you need it.

I am not really a car-mechanics guy, I think that it is much better to have a professional install it to avoid future problems.
So, any suggestions on where to have it installed?:S

Well, I personally trust Haddad Motorsports in Inglewood. I've had some work done on my car with them and they did an AMAZING job! Several other members have gone there as well. Check out this thread for some testimonials.

You really can do the CAI yourself. Don't pay more that $40 for someone else to do it. You could prob talk the shop into doing the CAI install for cheap with your axel back. Seriously though, it's not that hard. And even harder to mess up.

You may as well learn how to install and uninstall the CAI yourself. You'll have to do it for smog checks. After you do it once, it will take you 5 minutes to do it the second time.

Mike is moving shops. I don't think he has time to get anything done. He is finishing up my car and installing a ZL1 rear end in his G8. He has like a month to move. There building a Metro line and his land is gonna be a train station.
