ZL1 1LE Drag Wheel options for rears

Okay guys lets hear it...

What are the options for putting a drag radial and new set of drag only wheels on a ZL1 1LE???

I'm aware you can change the brakes and run 15's or whatever wheel you want... I know there are also weld's that I can run...

What will bolt on without any brake modification either in a 19" stock size or an 18"???? And is it even worth it at that point to NOT run a dedicated drag wheel and tire??? Like is an 18" or larger drag radial capable of reigning in this much power??? Cause sidewall height is usually the equalizer in whether or not a tire is going to hook or not with a certain launch...

So for someone who doesn't feel like doing a 1/2 track burnout on the stock 325's what are my options???

The bolt on only record zl1 went 9.5x on a 18” c7 z replica wheel/tire combo. He cut a 1.3x 60’.. pretty impressive.

IMO, a 17” drag setup with a 305/45 street R is the way to go. I am probably biased as that’s what stays on my car.

Mickey Thompson does offer a ET street s/s 325/30 19 for your 1le wheels. They would definitely help and be better than stock at strait line stuff.

Hope this helps
