Eibach pro lowering springs

I recently bought the eibach pro lowering springs from phastek and had them installed about a week ago. Within the first 10 minutes I noticed that every time I hit a bump that the front of the car made a terrible clanking sound on both sides. I drove it home anyway because I had arranged to pick up my car after hours at their shop. I thought that maybe the springs hadn’t been seated correctly or that it could possibly be the sway bar. So I called and had them take another look at the car and make sure everything was correct and tightened down. They kept it overnight and said that they couldn’t find anything wrong. They seem to think that it was hitting the bump stops but the noise happens on even the slightest bump including a gravel drive way. There isn’t any play in the steering or the wheels. Does anyone have an idea on what could be causing the noise? I’m out of ideas and will probably return to stock if I can’t find a solution because it drives me crazy.

it's not the springs.. has to do something with the installation. Did they put bump stops back in place? everything is torqued down? springs are seated properly on the strut?

i have had them on my car with over 10k miles and 0 issues..

try taking it to a different shop to re-evaluate the installation.

Yeah they used new bump stops from eibach. Springs are seated.

Front only and yeah it’s a clunk. Sounds like metal on metal to me.

TBH your issues sounds like the noise you are hearing is from the spring moving, the spring is not seated correctly. If the topmount is not lined up as it was, the spring sits loose, also when you turn the springs upper mount rubs against the inner arch. You need to realign the spring seats
