Did we just find the best catch can?

OK, so I got a bunch of mail asking about the E2-X, as the last video I did was the ultra and not a lot of people use the ultra. What I did was run the E2-X on the LT4 engine for about 300 miles, and then do the same with the MightyMouse. To save you the trouble if you don't want to watch the video the Elite did very well. I am not affiliated with any company

I run a standard mishimoto catch can combined with a metco valve cover breather that has a check valve disk. I removed my Whipple to install larger injectors and the supercharger was pretty clean inside after 11k miles.

I’m installing an E2-X as we speak. It’s a well made piece.

Reasons why this video doesn't jive with my own testing results. I had my Mighty Mouse Wild on my car for 3k miles before I pulled the blower lid and checked mine, there were no pools of oil residue in my blower anywhere, and this is on a 700whp ZL1, it was pretty much bone dry as far as I could tell.

Exactly. And if you install their catch can, there will be riches waiting for you at the end of a rainbow.

So you had different results then. I am surprised at your results as running the wild set up bypasses the factory separator under the blower, so pretty much your only separation is the can. With running the regular set up with any can you use the can plus the factory set up under the blower. I would never recommend bypassing the factory separator as that's an important feature.

I'm not affiliated with either company, and received no compensation from the company. I did purchase both catch cans, and was surprised at the results. I did contemplate for quite a while about even posting it, as I don't want to make anyone look bad, but the results are what they are.

You are lucky if you are filtering that well, but I suspect most likely you are just venting everything out, factory vehicles will never produce the pressures that your 700whp produces, and thus will rarely vent, so they will be forced to recirculate the air and filter as best they can.
