Pocono- Tuesday May 17th

Hi-
Is anyone else going to Pocono tomorrow for the SCCA Track Night Event? I’ll be there tomorrow and it’s my first time at the track with my SS 1LE. I’m really looking forward to it.

Hope to meet some fellow board members there.

I'll be there, my names Mark and ill be in an 18 SS 1LE (nightfall gray). Bringing it in on my trailer for the first time, look for a light gray enclosed trailer and satin steel gmc. Running in Advanced. Stop by for sure

Great- see you there. My name is Jeff and I have white SS 1LE. I'm running in novice, since it's my first time @ the track in over 10 years.

Yes, I bought a set of SS wheels off a guy on here and they're still sitting in my basement. They're 8.5 and 9.5" 20's but I figure the narrower wheel will be better for rain. Getting ready to unmount the tires on them, powder coat them black and then throw some ps4s's on them. Just haven't gotten around to it yet. I haven't signed up for anythong other than track nights so far so if it rains I just cancel. I want the rain tires for when I sign up early for an event with no refund policy or a long distance track. Today will be the first pull of my trailer, so hopefully all goes smooth.

Hey question for you, how tight do you go on your wheel straps on your e track? I bent one of my track slots a bit from really cranking down on it, just trying to see how much everyone goes for tightness.

I go pretty tight on the straps I bent one of the e-track slots also. Just go tight that you can't crank easily.

Great time! Met Jeff and we both had great times on the track. We run the north course through the infield with Track Night in America.

I'll have a video of my last session in Advance soon. Only car I couldn't pass was a yellow C7 Z06 on slicks. I was running him down a bit in the infield on occasion but he would walk away on the straights.... Obviously. But that last session I ran down a Viper and a 911. We even had an Atom in my group, always cool cars at these events
