Good for you bro! Nicely handled. And as mentioned above, just be careful with this clown, sometimes they do "other" crap to get ya back. Glad you got your dash cam back in. Good luck, hope it all stays safe.

Yeah, im not too worried about him "retaliating". First, he lives nowhere near the office. Second, the car is always under camera at work in addition to my dash cam. Also, everyone here knows me and knows my car and knows what happened. Hes become a bit of joke here so im sure if he shows his face, id be the first to know. I just find it funny how a candid conversation about boundaries and respect caused this kid to be so triggered and offended, he quit his job. Eh, its 2022, I shouldnt be surprised.

Just the standard weekend detail wash. I’m lovin the Griots ceramic stuff, recently found and tried their ceramic and wash “soap”.

It’s kind of a trip. If you have the ceramic coat on it and use this soap it doesn’t react like normal ol soap does. It doesn’t really suds up but a couple of swipes with the mit back and forth and the water is trying to run off.

I can take the spray nozzle off the hose and flood the roof or hood and it will nearly dry itself off. It breaks the surface tension on the water so fast it won’t just run off dry in a solid sheet. Way back I used some stuff on an Impala SS, flood the hood and the water would slowly drain off in one big sheet, hood would be bone dry when it all ran off!

kids these days... lol More concerned about looking cool on IG or Facebook than what they are ACTUALLY doing in real life.

I had a kid (about 19) working for me about 6 months ago, he felt it was completely unacceptable that he couldnt have his phone out and reading/posting while working, my generation (Gen X, will be 49 in August) just doesnt get it. His last day, we were crating a bunch of windows for shipping, told him to hold this board and he told me that I needed to hang on a minute, he just needed to finish the caption on his IG post.. I told him he had all the time he needed, because he was done working here...

I also got to fill up with 104 octane Sunoco from a 1/4 tank.

A friend has a super late model team, he’s picky about fresh fuel. He won’t use a drum older than 6 months in the race cars. I have no issue with free 6 month old 104 Sunoco!

Wow, that's good stuff. I'll have to try that on the new ride. The last time I tried something other than regular old dish soap or car wash soap was when someone talked me into paying 4X for a Meguiars product. What a crap-load of marketing that stuff is...grin...

Well after much searching, hem-hawing and procrastinating I purchased a Qwickjack BL-5000SLX and used the 2LS as a test mule. My disdain for Chinese made lifting equipment is well documented but desperation set in. Fairly straight forward setup, I think this will hold me over until "maybe someday" I build a shop and get a real 2 post lift.
