I pulled the F35 and f46 and the JMS light was still on. Also does that light stay on all the time?

It may take some time to bleed down and not go out instantly.

I'd think it would have went out by then. I've never tried killing my JMS after powering it on (just wired everything up and then hooked battery back up) so I'm not sure what to tell ya. I definitely changed out F35 from a 20A to a 30A fuse, but that was it.

I changed it out also just wondering if anyone has checked to see if the light turns off or it stays on all the time.

Yeah it stays on for a minute or two and then the power times out (like your running lights or parking lights).

I would imagine that if you were to leave trunk open and let car go to sleep that it should turn out upon inspection (and not triggering anything to wake up in the car). I cannot imagine that the car leaves power to FSCM all the time. I would normally help answer all these questions but my car is still asleep for the winter and I'm not home to look at it. Next week I will look at it when the cover comes off.

Thank you you might have a point I been checking it with the truck open, but again even with the truck open the truck light goes out after a while. I'm just wondering why does it stay on in my situation.

Did anyone ever find out if it is the F35 or F46 fuse on a 2018 ZL1?
According to the GM service manual the F46 goes to the fuel pump driver module (red/purple wire) and already has a 30Amp fuse in it.

Edit:
I can confirm it is the F46, just checked it with my Ohm meter.

LiqTenExp, thanks for posting your approach and pics. Love the idea of depinning vs. cutting.

I can't seem to get the lock out of the connector. Can you point out two outer tabs you said to push out?

I tried poking at these spots but it didn't want to come loose and I didn't want to break it.

You're certainly prying in the right spot. If I remember correctly, you just need to pull the white tabs out towards the sides on the ends where you're poking around. Now you have to pull that white part out as far as it will go first. The white part slides out of the connector like 1/8 to 1/4" then you have to lift up the back of the little white tabs on the ends where you've pointed and it should slide out the rest of the way.

Here's the connector from the back side from his first post in this thread. I've pointed at the part that locks it in from sliding out on both sides. That's what you've gotta pry out to unlock it completely.
