A10 Exhaust

Quick question.

Compared to my manual SRT Challenger the A10 is very quiet even with the exhaust in track mode at say 2200 rpm at 75 on the hwy.

I was hoping the car would fill up a bit more with the sound of the exhaust.

Just curious as my previous car stock , you knew there was 485hp pulling you along. Not so much with the Camaro in terms of sound.

Anyone do any exhaust work at all?

Thanks Pat

Just the Borla S-type.
Now it sounds great.
Even in stealth mode.

Tho I still have the stock set up I’ve heard a few different ones and have to say the Corsa sounds the best and has no drone in the cabin.

I can not justify the cost for getting an after market exhaust just to increase DB or sound quality so I will be going with LT headers and stock exhaust. It’ll give it more volume and increase power. Plus I get to keep the NPP.

Just throw a set of headers on and keep the stock muffler and get some HP gains as well. That will liven it up.

...or Corsa is my preference if you go that way. Never any Drone and an awesome sound at WOT.

You can pull the NPP fuse and keep the exhaust open all the time for a "little" more noise at highway speeds ect. because even in track mode the exhaust will close at speed.

Yep this will work, but the ZL1 is noisy with NPP is open.
In the track you can get the feel of the open exhaust.

Yeah it sounds pretty good for a free mod, I pulled my fuse and threw it over my shoulder pretty quickly after I got the car.

Within a few weeks my car will go to Weapon-X for the build.
The Exhaust will be Kooks 2x3 headers, with no cats, and back through a Flowmaster NPP outlaw system.
It should be EPIC!

If it gets too loud during normal driving or long trips, I'll just kick it over to the Delta 40! lol

Why pull the fuse then you can just go in to the settings and have it open all the time.

I can verify you get a little different sound by pulling the fuse. Louder overall.
