Service Stabilitrak w/ P0335 & P0651

2018 ZL1
<10k miles
Mod: RotoFab intake

Today I was heading back from the office. It is down a fairly large hill and once I hit the first turn (30mph'ish) from a red light. I got an error on the screen "Service StabiliTrak" and I lost the ability to use the gas pedal (RPM went to zero) and I coasted down the hill and hit the first driveway. I turned off the car and called On-Star. (Obviously, they were not helping) I then started the car again and I was able to limp it home. I pop'd in my code reader and I had these 2 codes.

I am going to call the dealer in the morning and see if I can limp her in or have it towed.

I did an oil change on Saturday. (0W40dexos2) under 10k miles.

Any idea of what it could be?

P0335 is crank positon sensor,

I pulled this from another post:

DTC P0651 5 V Reference 2 Circuit

The 5 V reference 2 circuit provides 5 V to the following sensors:
APP sensor 1
Throttle position sensor 1 and 2
Crankshaft position sensor
Brake booster vacuum sensor
Clutch pedal position sensor, if equipped

Better swap out your CAI and take it to the dealer...

Good thinking, heading to the garage now to take it off!

Just to be safe hell yes. I am sure you know but just in case do not disconnect the Mass Air. If you do they will see that

Could be a real CPS issue, or could be a glitch.

A low voltage, loose ground, plug wire burned on a header, or electrical short (harness rub thru in a couple known places) can cause all manner of potentially random bogus faults like this. Lots n lots of posts on this topic.

My battery died recently and it threw a CEL with a random TCM fault. Jumped the battery, cleared the code using Torque (before driving it so it didn't trigger limp mode) and have had no issues since.

So I recommend clearing the code first before taking to the dealer. If it doesn't come back and drives normal, chalk it up to a glitch. If you haven't had the wiring harness rub-thru fix (TSB) done, then might be worth playing it safe and having the dealer check/fix it anyway.

They said it was a dirty throttle body.
I had them do all the TSB while it was there, harness, fluttering speedo. Driving fine now!

Oil blowback from the blower.
