Swap A Lease advice

Need some advice. I have a 2016 Camaro SS. I traded my 14 crew cab silverado in on the car. I bought a winter beater truck as I live where it snows 4 months a year. Well after a few months I hate my truck. Looking to take over a lease on a newer silverado in the spring. I plan on paying cash for the remaining months of someone's lease ( 1 time upfront payment). With that being said, is swap a lease a reputable company, or is there another company that you recommend? Thank you for your help in advance.

I believe swap a lease is nothing more then a listing site, helping people move cars, and get in touch with the right people..i will be putting me 2017 Camaro SS on there very soon...

I have my 16 Silverado on there. Eh...nothing special to be honest with ya. But, there aren't many options out there for taking over a lease legally. They sold me a false bill of goods. I paid for the top subscription and my rep said I'd easily have a buyer in 30 days. I'm going on 60 days. I even threw in $2500 of incentives. Just tire kickers so far. But, it's at least worth a shot. Only cost me $200.

1. they take a nice fee to facilitate the deal.
2. better consider offering a few grand for someone to take the lease as an incentive or you will never consumate a deal.

For me, I lease my Camaro under a plan, and I put a few thousand dollars down, plus it only has 360 miles, yes less then 400 miles... And I will pay the transfer fee, so that's where I will start. Wish me luck

I leased a Volt when they had some good incentives. Got tired of it after a year (it was pretty impressive, though). To sell the lease, I just surfed the Volt forums for someone looking for one. A few PMs later, it was done.

So before you go through a broker site, look on the truck forums for somene trying to get out of their lease. You'll get the better end of the deal. All you have to do is work it through their finance company and meet their eligibility requirements.

I used swap a lease for my previous car. Once the buyer contacted me, swap a lease is out of the equation and we finished the deal going through my leasing company.

I had real people inquire about my car so it's not a scam or a gimmick.. It's just a listing which both parties have to pay to be a member.

Sometimes life throws crap at you, and you need to look at things differently, so at this time,I don't need a car that just sits in a garage, hopefully someone else will enjoy it.. It turns heads everywhere I go...

Is your lease through GM Financial or Ally?

I really hated my '14 Camaro so I contacted Ally to inquire what it would take to get out of it. They let me go for about $800.

GM Financial doesn't off the same flexibility.

As to trucks, if you're interested in leasing check out a Ram 1500 Bighorn. With competitive lease and other incentives you may qualify for you can be close to $200/mo without putting anything down.

WNY here too. Were did you get your camaro? I leased mine as well.

I got my at Shults in Jamestown. They took good care of me. Love the car, hate not having a good truck.

I hear that. I drive my 2016 Colorado a lot more than my SS.

Leases always have a buy-out value. So you can sell the car and pay the difference if it's higher than the pay-Off. which it usually is. I've done that with several leases never paid over $1K to get out of the car. Still saved money over buying if the MF is low especially factoring in local taxes which you only pay on the payments made not on the total sale price of the car like a purchase.

That said I did purchase both the Camaro and the Colorado
