I would also like to know how the ECU recalibration works. Do you just take your receipt to the dealership and they take care of it from there?

Thats about it. The CAI comes with a code number they use to get the update for the ECU. Mine took about 30 to 45 minutes and I was on my way.

Here is a link on here from Rotofab.

Which i don't lol. Can't go wrong with either one.

Not sure what difference I'll feel, as I haven't even started it yet...LOL!
I do have dyno numbers before, so I'll see what I have with it at a later date.
Funny thing happened, I noticed I was missing one of the grommets, so I was repositioning the 2 I had and I accidentally dropped on into the black abyss never to be found!
Ended up going to the dealer to purchase 2 new ones, so now I have 3.

Anyway, just wanted to post up some pics for anyone looking to get one.
Here are some comparison pics of the air intake port, box and the sealing on the hood. The hood seals it pretty good, but there are areas where it doesn't seal off the box.

Thanks everyone for your vote of confidence! We appreciate your continued support.

Yeh...Stock assembly with a drop in K&N filter. Cut the bottom out of the stock assembly. Good for 10-15 hp. Costs you $50 or $60 for the filter vs a couple of 100 for the after market stuff that perform no better than the above.

On a basically stock car perhaps...As you start to increase mods and make more power the Rotofab will show more gains in real world use.
