I highly doubt this will be slower than our stock cars. BMW has a bad habit of underestimating their acceleration numbers, a lot. I almost put down a deposit on the new M4, but decided to wait, thankfully. This car is going to be a monster on the streets, take my word for it.

Slow stock sure, but give that thing a tune and it's as fast as a ZL1.

No one will be cross shopping a M4 against a ZL1. Very different buyer segments.

Not true. I did, well kinda.

I went from a 16' M3 to the SS 1LE. I could have gone into a new M3, but they suck now. Their driving dynamics , handling are not what they used to be.

My $47K 2SS 1LE kills my $70K M3 in almost every driving dynamic way.

Now, Bimmer fans get same painful with our 19's Camaro SS.

BMW shouldn't follow GM idea again although they make their X6 in the right way.

I may be biased but the 19 refresh doesn’t look as bad in comparison to the botch job of the entire M3/M4. Chevy kept the same design, they just didn’t paint match part of the fascia like before

It's a shame the 6th gen hasn't sold well. It's performance credentials are more than impressive as stated here.

I came from a 435. The obvious upgrade would have been an M3 or M4. Yet the Camaro represents a much better value (and a ****ing dope engine that doesn’t sound like an anemic cat from the factory).

No to pile on here, but i cross shopped a M2 vs SS 1le. Test drove a SS 1le after the M2, and ended up with the Camaro

The 19 is great, so glad i went to see one in person. And it seems like if one really hated the 19, they would not like the 20 either.

I do wonder if this M3/M4 looks better in person though, i was convinced the bmw e82 1 series was really ugly until i saw it in person and then i bought one new.

I like the blacked out fascia myself! It looks very mean and stands out far more than either the previous or updated one.
