No Automatic on the V6 for 2017?

Any idea why I can't select a V6 engine with automatic transmission when I try to build a 2017 Camaro on Chevy's website? It tells me that it has to be changed to 4-cylinder.

Chevy screwed up on the web page the form input ... You can configure automatic with a V6 engine by changing the axle ratio. When I ordered my Camaro the sales rep also did not know and configured the wrong car. Luckily I found out later and complained.

As mentioned, when building on Chevy.com change the axle to 2.77- this adds the A8 by default.

I still can't figure out if there's a way to do it on the GM Supplier build site.

choose the A8 first, then go back and choose the V6. They have a bug in the web form that forces you to dick around with the order in which you're making the selection.

or, choose the 2.77

[Tongue in cheek]The de-pussification of America has started!

GM's thinking.....If you're not going to buy the V8, you're at least going to drive a stick.[/Tongue in cheek]
