That's terrible. Carry over the refresh, slap a BlazEr badge on it, done. The current Blazer is one of the best looking midsizers out there.

A shortened Traverse, maybe named Traverse Sport, would've covered that base. Maybe puff the Equinox back up a wee bit.

100% agree.

The Blazer is overpriced for what it is, and doesn't have much more interior room than the Equinox (almost none...it's quite disappointing) yet the wife and I can't get it out of our heads. We want one....not sure if it will happen but the want is strong lol.

Do it! I've had mine for just over 2 years and I still love it. It's roomy for us, almost as big as my wife's Explorer.
P.S. I paid about $8,500 under sticker price.

Look at those two together. I'm convinced the Blazer was a Camaro SUV at some point in product development.

$8,500 under sticker is a pipe dream now. Used goes for nearly same price as new.

I was able to find some GMC Acadia Denali for the same price as a nicely equipped Blazer RS.

True dat. I bought mine January 2020, right before the world turned to shit.

Not at all. Articles pretty subjective. Design 7/10? I test drove the Edge ST before buying my Blazer. Which one looks sharper to you? Blazer's interior is much more interesting the Ford's bland, dated interior. Again, subjective. Seats in my Blazer were more comfortable than the Edge's. Gas mileage is objective but not much difference and like my Camaro, I didn't buy my Blazer for good gas mileage.

I agree with what you say above on the Blazer looking better inside and out than the Edge, although the Edge (ST) is still pretty nice looking on the outside IMO, but I don't think that article is far off the mark either in other areas.

So my parents actually own a 2020 Blazer 3LT with the RedLine package. It has the 2.0 engine and my wife and I have both driven it. The 2.0 is plenty for our needs...or well at least for my wife since she's accustomed to driving the 1.5 in her GMC Terrain SLT. I actually wish the 2.0 was an option on the RS model. I've also ridden in RS models with the 21" wheels, and while it's no cushy ride, I didn't think it was harsh either.

Looking at the article above where they compare cargo space to other's in it's class, you can see what I mean when I said in my earlier comment about it being small on the inside, yet large on the outside. That's one of the reasons we are having a hard time taking the leap and getting one. If we are gonna drop the dough, would be nice to end up with a few more cubic feat of cargo space as compared to our Terrain, but it's actually only about 1 cubic foot more.

The new Mazda CX-50 has caught my eye. Not quite the looker that the Blazer is, but I think the interior is just as nice and more modern, and you get more for the money. But I don't think my wife is interested in one, and my local town doesn't have a Mazda dealership.

My wife had a 2018 Equinox and while I agree that the backseats legroom are quite comparable the front seats of the Blazer are much roomier. While the cargo space in the Blazer isn’t as much as the Explorer it is more than the Equinox. I have the RS with 21” wheels and I have no complaints about the ride, but then again my other vehicle is my Camaro. While the Blazer has a little less HP than the Edge, it’s 308 HP will get up and go.

Oh I did not know the Blazer was packing 300+ HP. That adds a little twist of spice to them. However I still do not like crossovers.
