Probably Denali (wood trim) but looking good nonetheless. Prefer this to the slap a tablet on the dash method we're seeing often.

I like what I’m seeing so far on the Colorado and Canyon. Still have a need for a full size but hoping that won’t be the case much longer. Pondering the thought of a midsize pickup as a daily before maybe going to an EV. The 2.7 turbo will definitely get better mpg compared to my current hogs. Definitely looking forward to seeing them unmasked.

Looking real good!!

Already much better than the global Ranger's interior. Hopefully the US spec Ranger ups the game a bit. I can't say that I was very impressed with it.

I had a dream last night that they stopped calling it the Canyon and are now calling it the Jimmy.

"Jimmy" is also the nickname to the GMC brand...ask any old timer from back in the day especially those who rocked GMC cracker box & Astro cab overs or Brigadier & General conventional class7/8 semi trucks for a living. A "Jimmy" with a pissed off "Buzzing' Dozen" V12 Detroit diesel is a symphony for the ears at full song.

I can still hear one off my dad's friend back when as he would leave early in the morning in his GMC Astro as I waited for my ride to school and he was at least a mile away but I could clearly hear that "Jimmy" exhaling.

They had the right name: Blazer. Once they used that, still had it, TRAILblazer. Now that's gone too for some reason on a micro CUV.

Yeah...I mean using the Blazer name to revive the old Blazer would have been great. But I like the current Blazer enough to let it go. I feel like using the name TrailBlazer on the small CUV was an even worse crime.

It's growing on me. Still feels funky though on the front end. I still think an upper trimmed Sierra or RAM is still much more attractive, but the Rivian would likely draw more attention just because when you see it, you know it's different.

The bottom line is the bottom line, so the Cadillac Escalade is the hottest new vehicle on the U.S. market. According to research from Edmunds, the average transaction price (ATP) for Caddy’s big, big SUV is an astonishing $106,226—which is $3169 over the average Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $103,057. And for the longer wheelbase Escalade ESV that ATP number jumps to a mind-boggling $120,340 on an average MSRP of $103,143. That’s $17,197 over sticker—and every penny of that is pure dealer mark-up.

"People want Escalade," states Ivan Drury, senior manager of insights at the CarMax-owned market monitor Edmunds. "Buyers are completely crazy on Escalade. They cannot get enough of the redesign."

That mania for the fifth-generation Escalade has put the brand atop Edmunds' list for vehicle transactions over MSRP. According to that list, Cadillacs had an average MSRP of $76,914 and an ATP of $80,962 in 2021. That’s an average of $4048 above suggested retail—just about a five-percent bump. Since this figure is sales-weighted, most of that thick number comes straight from Escalade sales.

Cadillac sold a total of 40,504 Escalades in the United States during 2021, plus another 3444 in Canada and a few more in the rest of the world. That’s up from 2020 sales of 24,545 units in the U.S. and 1755 to the Canucks. Those numbers are skewed by pandemic challenges and weird variations in production, but they represent the best sales year ever for the Escalade. And the appetite for the oversize beast hasn’t subsided in 2022.
