Borla S-type axle back

Anyone around New England-upper state NY have the Borla S-Type axle back exhaust installed on their 6 gen SS? I’m thinking of doing that upgrade. I would like to hear that set up in person because I don’t want to rely on just sound clips to make a decision.

I have the Borla S-Type and it sounds awesome. Couldn't decide between the s-type vs attack. Glad I went s-type. It's not too loud and not to quiet. It has a nice growl to it when you get on it and it's toned down with cruising. it's just right. Sorry, I'm on Long Island.

I’m sure there is someone closer. Is the s-type a deeper sound than stock? Don’t get me wrong for stock exhaust it sounds great as you know but it is higher pitched and I think I would like a deeper sound. The Atak seems more aggressive and higher pitched then I ultimately want. Thanks for responding.

I’m still curious if there is anyone around New England or upper state New York who has put a Borla s-type axle back system on their SS, LT1, or ZL1 Camaro?

I have the GM-branded version of this exhaust on my car if you find yourself in CT...

I guess I’m not familiar with a GM-branded version.

GM's "Performance Exhaust" for the SS is a Borla S-Type. It replaces the stock, non-NPP exhaust system (dual tip, not quad tip). So, while my exhaust is stamped with bowties, it's a Borla S-Type underneath.

Wow didn’t know that. You live anywhere near the casinos. Planning to go for a weekend in within the next couple months if we can fit it in.

About an hour's drive from the casinos. And, while we go there from time to time, I -never- take the Camaro there.

I have a couple of "local trips" coming up where I may have the car with me... Berkshires (tomorrow) and outside of Boston (a little over a week).
