147 is right on the money for a stock ZL1, yours must be putting some more power than 100whp at that speed your looking at close to 150whp to go another 10mph, that being said 158 is hauling ass

NO Fly Zone is run by Tony hes a good dude and his events are straight forward but they are not a true half mile his true half mile is the cones so depending on which event you always start 300 to 400 in front of the cones

this event has some fast cars the Vengence cars are always there my buddy Manuel this is his event, he will be there with his 750whp 911 and multiple 700-1100 whp porches will be there to try to set the 1/2 mile record.

There were 5 Lambos at this years Speed fest. One of them was rumored 3,000 plus hp. He set the “e gear” speed record at 241 mph. Think they from Dallas Speed. Wicked cool to watch.

Might go for more hp for next years run. My tuner was saying 100 whp worth about 10 mph..

its a good day any day at the 1/4 or 1/2 mile track, and its always fun adding more HP, Ive got some more goodies to add hopefully I can get it finished before the next 1/2 mile.

Half miles are a lot of fun and you meet some great people at the track and hotel. Times for the Wanna Go Fast events back to 2011 are posted on their site. Lots of 5th and 6th Gen SS and ZL1 cars with HP estimates on the later events.
