Center Console Knee Pad Fix - Epoxy?

I have the suede center console kneepads and they have come off twice during autocross runs. I am thinking I will just put some epoxy on the connectors and install them forever. Is there any reason I would ever need to take them off and regret the epoxy?

If you ever manage to rip/tear/stain/damage in some way the fabric and want to replace it/them, you'll probably regret it.

I have just removed mine after it has come off on track and at autocross and throw it in the garage.

Funked1, just curious, how are they coming loose? Does your knee slam into them when throwing the car around on the road course? I like using a small pinch of this stuff around clips whenever I have to replace a panel. Helps prevent any vibration mostly but also prevents loosening in the joint.

I don't know about him, but I paid attention to this closely the last time I autocrossed with the pad installed, and I did NOT make contact with it. It just came off mid-corner without any help from me. The passenger side never comes off, and neither do either of the pads on the door panels (those are actually held on really tightly by a bunch of clips, to the point that it's not easy to remove them).

I actually removed mine last week. Wow they do come off easily. After I asked how they were coming, off I can totally see how / why, due to the vertical clips. But, there are certainly ways to mitigate it if one so desires.
