[url=http://goo.gl/oOQauo Posted by HumanWiki[/url] My driver's side, lower panel in front of the rear wheel has now developed air pockets in multiple places on it and seems to be peeling. This is in the clear protector film that's over the paint.

Has anyone else seen this on theirs?
Hi HumanWiki,

I am sorry to hear of this paint concern you've encountered with your Camaro. After reading through this thread, I see that you are planning on visiting your dealership for an appointment. If you would like, we can certainly reach out to them on your behalf to facilitate a service visit and provide support on our end. Please send us a private message containing your full contact information, current mileage, VIN, and preferred dealership if this is of interest.

We look forward to your message!

Julie c. I have the same problem. Are you there today? and what's the fix?

Also anyone hear when driving like a metal squeaking sound when you turn or the road is rough. Almost like something is moving around that shouldn't.

It's a plastic film piece to protect that area of the car. I'm at the dealership and that's what they pointed out.

Thanks,

I am in contact with my dealer. It's not a paint issue. It is a clear protection film so it's not a huge deal. Just looks odd at the right angle.

I will PM you about a different question though that is unrelated.

Ha. Human. We are doing the same thing. My dealership is ordering a replacement protective sticker shield for it. The rubbing and squeak I will have to leave my car behind.

I personally would not use the GM product. It's proven that it bubbles/yellows on the new Corvettes, and now bad on the Camaros. It's cheap crap. Either go to the cleartastic product, and a sheet of XPEL cut, or even 3m paint film off Amazon. All work well. This is a one hour project with soap, squeegee and a pair of scissors…

If that's the case, then I'll give them a shot at replacement once. After that, I'll have my vinyl guy do it. He did this on my 5th gen and my C6 GS
