It took almost 8 years
But the battery went on my remote. Per the owners manual it
takes a CR 2032 battery. I called Ace hardware who has them. Going to replace right away so I don't get locked out of my car. no, my SS is not laying on it's side. lol

Me-nards usually has good prices on batteries.
Those are pretty common, you may have another device or two that uses them, making it worth a 2 or 4 pack.
