2020 Sliverado 2500 HD Looking for a Forum

Can anyone recommend a decent forum that includes the 2020 Silverado 2500 HD diesel? I've searched and found relatively poor quality forums. I can't get my membership approved on gm-trucks.com.

Thanks in advance.

This is my first 2500 and my first diesel. The truck is overkill for towing the car on an aluminum trailer (see above). I was comparing against the Silverado 1500 with the 6.2 gasser with the 10-speed transmission. Those trucks weren't in inventory at the time (middle of covid) and the price differential to a heavily discounted 2500 diesel closed quickly. After test driving and a friend's recommendation I went with the 2500.

General Impressions:
1. It's big! Lots of space everywhere. The extra bed capacity over my old 1500 Dodge is outstanding for going to the track. You have to use a step stool to check under the hood. Turning radius is reduced and parking garages suck.
2. Technology is great and the parking assist, camera mirror, 360 degree parking view make it so much easier to park or line up on a trailer.
3. The 6.6 Duramax is a torque monster and pulls my rig like it isn't there. People say this all the time, but I am serious. I've pulled over the Smokey Mountains and it was flawless.
4. Modern diesels have a ton of emissions crap on them. I bought the extended warranty due to the cost of repairing these systems.

Good:
1. Interior is comfortable and practical. Lots of storage compartments and space. Excessive amount of power receptacles.
2. 910 lb-ft of torque! Decent acceleration for such a heavy beast.
3. Excellent ground clearance
4. Bed utility is great with abundant tie-downs, good lighting.
5. Headlights are high output.
6. Exterior lightning is extremely helpful for lighting the entire circumference of the vehicle for working/loading in the dark.
7. Good brakes, but a very stiff pedal.
8. Resale value should be better than a gas 1500.
9. Ride is smooth and it handles like a much smaller vehicle.

Bad:
1. The Bose sound system is sucky at best.
2. Front seats are extremely hard, but I don't find them uncomfortable.
3. Minor warranty items including: bad batteries, rear window leak, wacky DEF system error messages
4. The front grille is a love it or hate it. I think that some of the color combos are pretty hideous. The GMC versions and the High Country look more traditional.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Nice looking setup!!!
Love mine also
I have a 2020 2500 have had it about a year and a half.
I also have an aluminum car hauler and is a little overkill.
My 2017 1500 5.3 and eight speed struggled a bit with my Camaro on it so I moved up.
Only issue I had was the DEF tank reading funny had a update done at the dealer and corrected it.
I'm a member of gm-trucks and did not have a problem when I registered but that was 3 years ago.[

That's cool our trucks are comparable on MPG
My truck has about 13,000 miles on it.
The more I've driven it the better its gotten.
At first I was getting about 12 to 13 in the city and 20 on the highway with 12 towing.
I guess its slowly getting broken in.
