stock bottom end 1/8 and 1/4

Who has the record for sbe in the 1/8 and 1/4 , fastest untouched, factory sbe period. Any power adder, any combination. 8 or 10 speed.

There is whole forum topic section dedicated to drag strip threads. One of the sticky threads has all kinds of drag results. There are multiple categories according to the amount of modifications done. Your answer resides in there for at least the forum members willing to post their results.

The reason why he is asking is because the list is outdated and most of the fastest cars owners do not post here. Then the quick 20 list on FB does not indicate SBE any longer. So I can see why he is asking this because the SBE record stuff for those that care is currently as clear as mud.

For an SS (so not including the zl1 stuff) I believe Texas Speed/Jason Mangum still holds the record at 8.87 @ 148.82 in their Naturally Aspirated car

yeah the tsp car is nasty but straight race and stripped down, , that car will probably go a lot faster. But looking street trim stock a8 and a10 trans cars.

at that point, you are making it really subjective. what's considered "street trim" is going to have 15 different definitions from 10 different people.

Unfortunatley now a days in the world of NT/Grudge racing and internet shit talking on social media 24/7 it is pretty uncommon for people to talk about their times, especilly the really fast guys...

Honestly I do believe there should be a true street category that requires the factory trans(built or stock), rear, ECU, and interior to be considered a street car. The problem is not everyone will agree. Some think a TH400 rmvb with a 5000 stall swap and no interior is street.

Good idea. I went 10.00@139 on stock engine and internals, trans, rear, etc. Yah its getting very expensive to be in that Fast 20. Still are a bunch running A8s and A10. Its really high buck to do a T400, 9inch conversion. Wasn't worth it to me. Hell my old diff was still in the car after over 250 plus passes down the track, he finally broke it last fall. Trans and converter have made it thru 3 engines. Haha, don't have to worry about it anymore. She's gone.

The whole sbe , stock trans , street trim was for a reason. I think 90% of us out here fit that. the tsp car is cool , buts it's as light as a fox body , the block and frame is the only thing stock. Most of the street trim cars out here are with in 200 hundred lbs +- each other , and that's fine, to each there own. I know where the street car , race car bullshit stops.

so back to the original topic , sbe, stock trans , and let's say daily driver with all factory options other then light weight replacements options.

You have the following:
Brady Reavis (A8 N/A) 9.0 @ 147..... he is sub 3000 lbs
Brandon Hill (A8 N/A) 9.2 @ 143.... he is also sub 3000 lbs
Zach Bowman (A8 N/A) 9.3 @ 142.... I believe he is also a sub 3000 lbs
Myself (A8 FI) 9.4 @ 145..... mine is 3300 lbs without me in it

After that I dont know, because I only concern myself with people that I need to be faster than. lol.
