Maybe it's saying something different for those that have a local DT brick-and-mortar store available to them. Because for the online version (discounttiredirect.com) it doesn't say that. Also, their website says the tread depth for the RT660 is 6/32", which is wrong. The Falken site says it is 8/32". That's important for those trying to run this in classes that require a minimum 7/32" depth, such as SCCA Street classes. For being such a big company, DT's website is kind of a dumpster fire.

issue is discount tire is falkens main retailer. the only reason TR has falkens is because of the SCCA SSC class.

they will get them just discount gets first dibs

Thanks for the info !

I am in the market for tires for my car, I have until the end of the month of August to get some 200tw. I really wanted the 315 but i'm considering trying out this 305 on the car.

the 295 rt660 has my eye for the front! Not only cause its just a little wider than the 285 but also cause the tire shops wont hate me when i bring them to mount lol
You ran 285/35 front and 305/30 rear (26.8" diameter front and 26.2" rear)?

In RT660, you'd run 295/35 front and 305/30 rear (27.2" diameter front and 26.3" rear)?

Right, if those sizes come out they are approved for 10" and 11" wheels per Falkens recommended rim widths.

305-19s are available thru America’s Tire. As it was explained above, AT is the main distributor for Falken so they get first dibs. Kinda like Tire Rack and BFG Rivals. I’m waiting for the 315s.

IDK, man, you're the champ with auto-x, but a 1" difference in diameter (0.5" difference in ride height)... on a car that is factory set with a slight rake, down towards the front and that has a neutral/slight-understeer balance and you change that rake to favor opposite... I mean, if it works - it works... but I'd be more inclined to do 295/35 all around. I know, from a braking standpoint, and track driving, knowing the SS 1LE is front biased in bakes by a good amount (I've tested it), I'd try to stay as close to equal in diameter or smaller in front for as much of a rake towards the front as I could. But maybe that 0.5" isn't enough to really amount to anything. Just my thoughts
