355 rear 295 Acr tire question

Will the computer not like 355 30 19 in back and 295 25 19 in front does it mess with the speed sensor or something? Is the profile to far apart as far as height?

If so is there a way around it?

I would check the revolutions per mile. If it is greater than a 3-5% difference, then I would be more concerned about the ABS kicking in inappropriately.

My limited understanding of how the system works:

Part of the calculation is wheel speed in relation to the other wheels and if a wheel with a different speed is experiencing wheel spin.

With different profiles, the rotational speed is always different and the traction system freaks out because there is no wheel spin.

I don't know what the tolerance is that will trigger the system.

Do not run the narrow 295 ACR's in the front, I have been running the 355 ACR's in the rear for all last season with the 305/30r19 RE-71r front and love it. Once the 71's are cooked I will be swapping over to the Falken RT660 315/30r19 front with the ACR's in the rear.

Didn't you ask this question 2 years ago and we told you it wouldn't work back then?

Are your wheels the same size as the stock ones? Will 355 fit on the stock ZL1 1lE rims?

Stock ZL1 1LE wheels running about -2.2* rear camber to help tuck the rear tires into the wheel wells under compression.

Said it might mess with the sensors.. not a definite yes.

I wanted to ask again for a definite yes not a maybe or might.

No one is trying it because they know it will affect the sensors.

Here's what I can tell you for a fact. The last time i wanted to finish off a set of 285/30R20 G3 fronts that wouldn't last another trackday I swapped those wheels to the rear and put my 19s with the 295/25R19 ACR tires on the front. Well I made it about 2 miles and every light on the dash lit up like a Xmas tree. I was surprised that it still let me do burnouts and donuts, but no way I'd drive it on track like that. 355/30R19 tires are a larger diameter than 285/30R20 so it will be even worse.
