Does this make you think, at least maybe?

Sub 9 seconds at 168 mph

Nope, hard pass. Didn’t even bother to read most of the article after I saw electric. I have absolutely no interest in being involved with electric vehicles. Hopefully I’m dead and gone before that time comes LOL

I think at some point as the technology advances.. electric cars will literally do circles around gas cars.. we'll look at gas cars like a nostalgic fun thing, but for performance it will be zero competition.

Nope. I can get the same performance from a COPO, and it sounds fantastic.

Not much of a Ford fan but Id definitely drive an electric Camaro if it was available to the public.

I'm with you. I've already mentioned in a previous thread if there is an electric Camaro I will sign up. As long as it looks like a Camaro and not another crossover/suv hybrid.

Change happens whether you want it to or not. While no one likes change you do have to either adapt or fall behind.

GM actually done a focus group as part of the development of the gen 5 car.
I will not say no until I see the actual product.

Unless I am wrong, Scott S. (f body father) is still employed with GM. As long
as he is a GM employ, hope springs eternal for Camaro.

Henry Ford thought the model T was the end all, be all for cars. Henry was wrong.

I'm absolutely on board with an all electric Camaro. Honestly, my biggest fear isn't the acceleration, they've proven that. My biggest fear is the weight will make it handle like crap. We finally got a Camaro that can be a track killer, don't want to see that go away now.

For all the naysayers, if you're already driving an automatic, you're halfway there. Play engine noises over the radio and you won't be able to tell the difference.
