If visibility improves with the Windows down, you might want to grab some cleaner.

True that!!

Kidding aside, talking about more the front traffic light view without top header in the way and the blind spots

I agree that having the top down makes a huge difference in visibility - especially the traffic light piece.

I personally don't mind manually stowing away and putting on the Targa top on my C7 if it means improved structural strength and a lighter weight over a soft top. Just comes down to if you lean more towards performance or convenience.

A Targa top (BTW, that’s a registered trademark belonging to Porsche) does ZERO to improve structural strength because there’s no connection front to back. It’s the same body strength as a convertible. Now, a T-Top does add strength since the center section effectively connects the car from front to back at the roof.

Wikipedia much?

Yes, Targa is a registered trademark but the term is used across all brands to indicate a removal roof.

I know, and yes, Wikipedia is a good thing to check before posting something you know is 99.9% true but don’t want to be called out on the .1% chance you’re wrong

Why do they limit the verts to 155?
Would the top rip off at speeds above that?

Finally had the top down today. Why? To make it easier to get my COVID vaccine.

LMAO!

We did a little vacation trip last fall and rented a Camaro Convertible while we were there. We had to go to have a COVID test done prior to returning home and did basically the same thing.
