Camaro V6 1LE - how many on here?

Have you done any modifications once you bought one?

I assume you are daily driving it.

Since you have been limited by the weather what has your gas mileage been and what kind of gas have you been using?

What major options did you get? As happy as I am with an Evo X, I think a V6 1LE might be a better road trip car.

Question - Do the V6 1LE cars have the relocated wire harness in the driver's side rear? I'm curious whether SS 1LE wheels bolt on.

I don't know how many, but GM built it based on demand. So many times I have read people saying if they would build this or build that I would buy one. Well, GM stepped up and I'll bet they don't meet expectation.

An example is the SS. People wanted a 4 door Camaro so they could take the kids. So GM does and GM struggles to sell them all, and it's only about 3K cars a year.

I've been averaging about 20 MPG. I ordered the car as a 2LT, with the technology package, so heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, ambient lighting and bose radio. totally in love with this car.

sadly true.... many just wanna see it be done and have zero intentions of buying. same with mods and parts.

I am totally impressed with the 2LT 1LE. I wish I had the bucks for a second Camaro. You know what I really wish they had done is to equip it with exactly the same specs as the V8 1LE and that would have been a world killer package which would have sold like hot cakes in Europe. I know the current car is very, very good on the track, but imagine it with all the goodies.

I've driven and autocrossed a ton of vehicles, some good, some great, and I got to tell you this little V6 is amazing, tight handling, impressive power for a V6, and the build quality of the product is better than I expected. And I work for a Chevy Dealer in the Service Dept.... I can't wait for spring so I can really push this vehicle to the limit!

I would love to start hearing from you guys about how your V6 1LE's are doing at track days and auto x's! I think they'll surprise just as much as the SS 1LE's are.
