Warning for you guys running headers…
Protect this harness. We pulled mine to inspect it and we caught it just in time. We’re applying some heat shield. Passenger side under the strut tower.
I noticed that in hard RH corners the dash would go out and sensors would act up. This is definitely the culprit. Carry the hell on! |

Yikes! Looks like a little bit of time protecting those wires and finding a way to strap them away from the heat is in order.

Route them behind the coolant tank. There’s room, it’s the easiest fix IMO.

Which headers are you using? I don't have any issues with my 2" Kooks.

NG329 one of us should’ve mentioned this when you posted about your header install. There are many threads talking about relocating that harness as Chrome383Z mentioned. Hopefully it’s all good for you after you fix it.

In all fairness, I'm probably taking turns a lot harder than you are. I noticed my dash going out in hard right hand corners. Upon inspection, we noticed that the harness had enough play in it to make contact with the headers under heavy lateral gravitational loads. |

I'm just glad that we got to the bottom of it. Tipped my mechanic $100. He saved me so much more $$$ down the road. |
