Dealership Employee Purchase Program
Does anyone know the details of how this program works and the discounts it may give you when purchasing a new Camaro? I have been at a dealership now for a few years and may want to use this option if the dealer allows it.

Go to GM Family First. It has the build your car feature under tools just like the Chevy web site does. Build your car and look at the summary. It will have the MSRP and then show the employee pricing and any rebates factored in.
Some cars you save a few $1000 and more expensive car like the new Cadillac Escalade V is over $13k off with the plan. There is a cap with dealer fees with the Employee plan. In Florida, the max is $75. The only problem is finding a dealer that will accept it. Dealers were not required to be part of the plan pre-pandemic, so I'm sure even fewer are accepting it. |

If it’s the actual Gm employee program it’s not much of a discount on the camaro vs a common vehicle like a suv or pick up. It was like 1000 bucks when I used it on mine when Gm was trying to give away vehicles, right as the shut down happened. A supplier code is even less. The other question, is Gm letting people use the program right now? I know Chrysler stopped a while back.

You can also find the “pep” cars marketing uses on the website and pricing for more discount.

Employee or family discount is 20% off of msrp atm, but there's a big but.... dealerships can offer it but don't have to, and with everything selling for over msrp, why would they sell a car for 20% off? Also, they had family members buying cars and selling right away for massive profits. I tried so many dealerships to honor this, and the only way would be in like a van, suv, or something else not selling well. When I used it in 2017 with my first camaro, i got $7k off, they were asking 51k and I got it for 50k out the door. Man I missed those prices, lol

I think Dealership Employee pricing may be different than Friends and Family. When I purchased my Camaro in February, F&F was around 10% discount and the dealer honored it with no ADM.
Camaros show as roughly 7% discounted. https://www.gmfamilyfirst.com/byo-vc...ro/2022/camaro Escalades a little under 10%. https://www.gmfamilyfirst.com/byo-vc.../2022/escalade |

The trick is finding a dealer that will accept a GM Employee Purchase Authorization number. I ordered my 2SS around Feb 1st, delivered April 7th.
MSRP: $51,090 Employee Price: $47,286 Savings: $3,804 or 7.5%
