The grill adds the extra air flow, the dive planes add around 50 lbs of down force and the rear wings adds close to 300lbs of down force. and you save about 8 lbs not using the DRLS.

Where Do These Clips Go

Where do these clips go, I have 7 of them, I'm thinking on the top grill on the tabs (see second pic)?

Thanks

Have any of you guys swapped to dive planes that let you keep the DRLs? I"ve got the wing. Deciding on how to get some aero benefit up front now. I wish there was a ZLE aero package with the DRLs

I'm looking at these as am option but am a little skeptical of actual aero benefit.

I'm in the middle of installing the bezels and the tabs are not releasing easily. I'm talking about the lower left and lower right side air intakes. Any tips?

I'm in the middle of this and having the same problem. I had to "take a break" before I lost my mind.

Any tips on this?

I got the MFer's out.

Tips:
1. It is really a two person job. You need someone to hold the fascia with one hand and keep pressure on the middle of the bezel continuously.
2. Release the flexible "square in a loop" tabs first. The problem is that they are an interference fit. I used a box cutter to slightly bezel the edge, by bending it up slightly. It doesn't take much.
3. Press and bend until the "square in loop" box end is through the bezel.
4. Yank the top part off hard.
5. Yank the bottom part off hard.

6. Drink a beer.

The second one took about 10 minutes, vs. 2 hours on the first.
