Yea, crazy. I know C7Carbon has one for less than a grand. Not carbon fiber. But there was some fitment issues when they first started selling. But I think they got it all worked out. However, 4 months wait time is absurd......IMHO.

Here's another option I just saw. Don't know anything about them though. https://ccnorcal.com/zl1-1le-style-r...BoCO7AQAvD_BwE |

I think the phillips head "dash" screws for the splitter winglets are pretty cheesy....trying to find something in a torx or allen head, but that type of head on a non fine thread machine type screw probably will be impossible.....sigh

ARP used to make custom fasteners, not sure if they still do but it may be worth a shot.

Ordered the dive planes and associated hardware, plus the cheaper clips from LB Auto Parts tonight. Thanks for all the links and info. I'm skipping the grills and lower valance for now. I want the aero for Time Trials and I'm not trying to completely clone the ZL1 1LE.

Made my holes in the bumper to receive the splitter deflectors and dive planes. Used a small drill bit and cleaned them up with a x-acto knife. They look a little raggedy, but that is the edges PPF. Also removed the splitter. ZLE splitter arriving tomorrow.

What size drill bit did you use?
I noticed that the current 1LE splitter doesn't have a pin / blade style tab that the last variant had. Quote:

3/16 inch.
Got my splitter today. It was slightly twisted. Not sure why, but it is much more flexible that the ZL1 splitter. So I placed it on the bumper, so it would straighten out, or maybe I won't have to take it off at all to get the remainder of the parts on. Unfortunately the rest of the parts most likely won't be in until late next week or early the following week. The ZLE splitter does have a very slight shine to it. I figure when it gets beat up on the track, I can always take a can or two of Plasti-Dip and make it look new again. Something you can't do with the ZL1 splitter. |

Will not with the tabs on the ZLE splitter. However if you were to remove them, I don't see any reason or obstruction that would prevent that from working. The only concern is, that portion of the splitter is not really attached to anything. I guess you could glue it down to the painted portion of the bumper.
Not sure how you could remove them without marring the splitter. Between the splitter tabs and the bumper tabs, there are 19. I assume the ZLE lower grill has one long tab slot at the bottom, because there is very little space between tabs. |

Nope, it has 19 slots at the bottom. That ought to be fun seating all of those!
