Dealership uploaded all the data to GM. GM engineers examined it for about 8 hours while the service dept was checking connections. GM came back and said the most likely cause for the loss of communication was RF interference. They asked me to unplug my hard drive from USB, remove my phone charger from the windshield and to replace the LEDs in the trunk and license plate holder with the stock bulbs, all of which I did.
So far no issues but I went 10 days or so last time before it re-occurred. Fingers crossed.

Im having same issues , did they fix the issue? Or did it come back?
