HUD is fantastic at the track, it has shift lights along with other critical information.

Hood mounted blinkers are cool. Who cares if they are gimmicky?

A hood mounted tach like the old GTO Judges would be cool, and nostaligic.

Honestly? This is why I've not put my name on the waiting list for a UK-Spec S550 yet. I want to see what the new Camaro is like. Given we've seen ECE spec headlamps means there is definitely going to be a UK version (it'll be sold through Cadillac dealers, apparently).

Was it a look at me thing in the 60s too ?

There has to be a logical reason. I personally don't want lights flashing on my hood at night like that...could be a strange sensation.

If it didn't that would be a step backwards....

I was under the impression that Cadillac put the indicators on the hood so the elderly would notice they were driving around with the directional flashing and turn it off. Seriously

...Hood blinkers, hood-tachs, etc., gotta love 'em.....

Think about it. Basically they do the same thing as a HUD....just a little lower tech...lol...

I remember seeing a camo car, not a performance trim model, and the had something covering up the dash where the HUD will be. Possible 4 cylinder turbo with the HUD .
