One was leaking.
Considering bottles were taped, wrapped in bags and the shipping box is in perfect shape I would say they shipped it knowing it was leaking. The foil seal was broken under the cap.
I ordered it from here https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-GM-88...s%2C122&sr=8-1 which has almost perfect rating but upon looking into it further, it was shipped/sold by Royalty automotive parts and they have horrible rating. If I would have known this I would have bought elsewhere but there seems to be some shady business going on here through Amazon.

In Canada on Amazon it’s $50 a bottle. It is also not sold by those guys so either way at that price, there’s no chance of me getting it poorly packaged in the mail

I hear ya but there's more to it than poor packaging. IMO they KNEW it was leaking. Have you ever seen tape on the caps, wrapped in bags? The shipping box was PERFECT indicating nothing happened during shipping.
The other problem is the scam there, I ordered from a place with excellent reviews only to be sold/shipped by a scammer place. Look at those reviews, I am lucky I got my oil but should I even trust the one that's open? Who knows what these scammers do, they could take the good oil out and fill the bottles back up with shit oil. Whatever

Most containers containing liquid that I order from both Amazon & Walmart are typically taped and bagged.

I'd just do a return or replacement of the bottle that was opened. Poor reviews aside, it could just be an honest mistake.

I had a pretty decent size order from Amsoil earlier this year with some gear oil, some trans fluid, some power steering fluid and maybe a couple of other things. The power steering fluid leaked and got all over the other items. The box was soaked through too. I let Amsoil know and they replaced the entire order at no additional cost. I asked if they wanted me to return the other items in the order that were covered in power steering fluid. They said keep it, so I hosed everything off and now have a nice supply of Amsoil fluids

I’ve had really good luck with my amsoil orders arriving in good condition, it is only 180 mile journey from the warehouse

They have never disappointed me, every order was carefully packaged and delivered in or ahead of time. Their oil is top notch of course, and best of all, it isn't even more expensive than the Mobil1 0W-40 that dealers use.
