Finally A Great Launch With The 6MT

So before you all crap all over my time; I do relaize that you A10 boyz are not impressed. But for us manual owners it’s a total PIA to launch our cars - although it’s fun to keep learning, it can also get infuriating !

None the less I’m super happy with this 0-60 time.
All nanni’s were on, no launch control, approximately between 2000-2500 launch and held to just past 60mph.

This thing is such a blast!

Yes never left off. I figure if I want the best 0-60 I need to stay in 1st past 60. You get razor close to the rev limiter, and I have bumped off of it a few times in this training over the past month.

Any mods? If yes, what are they?

BTW, great job, that's quite an accomplishment for the 6MT crowd.

I thought the ZL1 had a pretty advanced launch control function?? Kind of like on the Corvette's, where it will give you just enough to keep the tires from going up in smoke and get you to that edge of adhesion.

With a good launch control, even in a manual, it should be really easy??

Am I missing something?

Never seen the 0-60 display before. Is that only in PDR equipped cars?

It will be on all of them, but you have to turn that one on in the options to see it.

You are accurate.
The reality is the outcome of that unfortunately for me didn’t produce times like that. The manual in the ZL1 is no where close to easy to launch, and the in low percentage that you do get a great launch I would usually land 3.8 - 4.0.

It’s in the performance menu, I would imagine every trim of vehicle has it, regardless of PDR optioned or not. In fact I leave my in that feature all the time as I’m into practicing!!! You can change the feature from 0-60 to other options like 1/4 mile.

I must be straight up retarded. I can't find it in any of my menus.
