Congrats!
Mother nature is smiling on you.
It's 3° here right now, and we haven't been above freezing in over a week and looks to be at least another week before we top 32°.
I'm more concerned about heating oil than motor oil.

Enjoy your new ride and hope you have a short winter.

I literally put the first 48 miles on the red rocket to get to the Nashville airport. We signed the papers and headed out of the dealership directly to get on an airplane out of country. Tried to keep it under 120 the whole way (a surprisingly difficult task)...

I said goodbye to my wife and my car before heading in to check in 68 minutes before takeoff. I was all the way to the TSA xrays when I realized I had both sets of keys! I got through and called my wife to tell her to come back. She gets off the highway, but stalls it out right in front of the biggest strip clubs in Nashville. She's freaking out, I'm trying to get an Uber and get my flight changed because I've only got 46 minutes before takeoff. I tell her to restart the car and it does! The keys weren't even within 15 miles of the car, but I guess she hadn't opened the doors.

So she flips around and gets to BNA with 28 minutes left to takeoff. I throw in the keys and a quick kiss before racing back through TSA again. They recognize me at precheck so I make it through pretty quick and made it to the gate with 12 minutes to spare!

And Delta upgraded me to First Class to Atlanta! Can't beat that for the first day...

Lol, nice. Love the red, don't see too many in that color.

"Kept it below 120 mph" ... Just be aware that the break in period is 1500 miles and you're supposed to keep it under 80 mph and are supposed to limit freeway drives unless you frequently vary speeds.

;-)

Yeah, I appreciate the reminder. Unfortunately it was either drive fast or throw away the $2900 flight. Or, at least, that's what I told myself at the time. But you're right.

Lol, just messing with you. I'm sure the car is fine! Now you just have to wait until your trip is over so you can enjoy it. ;-)
