I peeled of the mirror PPF(it did it's job, no paint damage but the PPF is) and the shop quoted .75-1 hours of labor for just the top piece on the mirror installed, over $between $100-130

I can buy the bulk piece from Xpel for $12, then just set the old piece on the new and cut it to the right size

Now I get to see how long this really takes. I can try so poorly I ruin 9 pieces and can still come out ahead!

Get it right the first time and sell the other five sets for $10 a set, money in the bank

Was getting ready to leave Walmart and the thermostat gauge went to full cold, CEL and fans running after shut off. Unplugged the battery for 30 minutes when I got home and back to normal.

Wonder if it’s the battery or thermostat.

Probably not the battery... here are a couple of threads for reference:

So about a month ago I had painted my factory black brembo calipers to red using C2 caliper paint. I really never liked the way they came out. The red just didn't seem deep enough, it looked to washed. I ponied up and bought 4 new red ones from gmpartsdirect.com and had the dealer swap them out. These new factory ones look soooo much better. The red is much deeper and really pop. Very satisfied with the result.

Looks great! They pop with the shark, you need to get some smoked or clear, side markers to clean everything up

I did the 500 mile oil change and differential fluid. Ive been doing my own oil changes since the 80s but this is the first time I've ever done the diff. Surprising how dark it was. The oil, filter, and fluid has to be right about $150. Nice problem to have though, seeing how many guys here are waiting on an allocation that may never come and the build run now ending in Dec.

Break in done. Hammer time.

Thanks Calgary. I've been undecided as to whether to do the overlays or just leave them as is. But you might of just nudged me to install the overlays since I'm not a huge fan of the led's.

I figured it’s gonna come back, gotta love General Motors. I might be able to clean it (from the one form) depends on how it happens I’ll pay more attention this time around.

Alot off sweat but it pays off

Perfect timing for this question of the day .been busy all morning . 2018 Ls v6 . I added a new front lip - installed axle back exhaust and new rear diffuser. And to finish off the day added some graphics . Rally strips an side stripes. Now I just need to find someone in my area to install the lowering springs .oh and I got rocker skirts to go on before its lowered .but that's next weekend
